When Ghosts Reach Out (inc. photo)

On 11/12/13 I was asked to consult for a friend.  She is a massage therapist who sees clients in her home. She is energetically sensitive but she is not a medium.

A family member had taken a photo of dogs in the home and later noticed the orbs, prompting my friend to email it to me.

Had three accidents happen to me last night at home and I was thinking there was some mean spirit causing these. Fell down the stairs and I am hurt. X sends this picture to me… saw these orbs in there. I wondered what you thought of this – do they look evil or nice. Can you can tell?

My first impression, of the pink orbs, was that I’d never seen them in the color pink before (they’ve typically been white when I’ve seen photos of orbs).  I also noticed what appeared to be an angel in the center of one of them.  However, my attention was immediately drawn to the male spirit behind the orbs.

The moment I looked at this spirit, several impressions came to me.

I enlarged the photo and rotated it.  I noticed that there are several spirits within the pink orbs.  There is a woman who appears to be dressed in clothing (and hairstyle) from the late 19th century and several other spirits, both male and female.  These spirits are what I would call lower spirit entities.  They are simpletons.

In Angels and Engineers I describe trying to communicate with a female spirit from the Wild West Days who was in our home.  She gave the impression there was something wrong with her, a learning disability perhaps?  She was like a simpleton, a child.  It was very challenging.

These spirits were floating – disconnected – unaware.  I dismissed them as I sensed no belligerence.  The male spirit was another matter.  I sent my friend an email with my impressions.

“He doesn’t belong there.  He is searching for his parent.  He’s mad that he died.  He’s a mischievous spirit and he came in on one of your clients.”

I provided additional details I felt relevant and advised her on how to cleanse the room and deal with the spirit.

I didn’t have to wait long for a reply.  Turns out the client she had that afternoon had had a son die unexpectedly.  My friend told me that while working on this client, a jar of cream fell and splashed down the front of her and into her eye.  Additionally, a container of crystals went crashing to the floor, though nothing broke.  Made a horrendous noise though.  Later, she was “pushed” down the stairs.

I explained that the young man had died before he’d been able to go through the stages of grief to acceptance.  He was trying to contact his parent.

I then explained that the orbs were harmless and the spirits within them as well.  I did, however, explain that they also had gotten a ride with someone and advised her on several cleansing methods and other steps she needed to take to clear them out.

I also discuss these in Angels and Engineers.  For better or for worse, I’ve occasionally had to chase spirits out after discovering the house we were renting had some unique ahem – properties.

Our current home has no problems, thankfully.

I thought about the male spirit, brought the image up in my mind.  Suddenly, the image was swapped out for that of a male in his early 20s, then back to that of the spirit (about 12?) then back to the adult, back to the child.  I heard an adult male voice ask “Are you sure it’s a child?”

I replied, “Okay, so you’re a guy who appears as a kid.”

I emailed my friend and she replied that the client’s son had been a young adult when he’d unexpectedly died.

Well, that explains that.

I participated in a 3-way consulting between my friend and her client and offered to reach out to the spirit to try and help him as I’ve helped other spirits

Again, this is described in Angels and Engineers.

I then went back to working on my current manuscript, a novel.

I was sitting in my room, my back against my headboard when I got a visit from the son.

At this point in my life, I’m fairly used to spirits popping in unannounced.  I’m also used to their volatile emotions.  This one showed up on my bed, smirked at me, and said “Who do you think you are?  Trying to help me…”

Beneath his bravado I sensed fear and hope.  Could I help him?

As I began counseling him on moving on, he sneered “Where would I go?”  Before I could answer, the following song lyrics “appeared”

Where do people go when they die?

The spirit and I both heard it.  He vanished immediately.

I will explain the relevance of the song suddenly playing in a future article.

I learned where the orbs had likely come from (hitched a ride on someone visiting, as I suspected).  She was happy to know they weren’t harmful spirits.

She still needed to get rid of them.

I gave my friend several suggestions about how to manage a business out of her home that meant people bringing tag-a-long spirits.

Last night I spent a good deal of time working with this young man to help him find peace.

He was afraid of being alone, of being cut off and not being able to touch his parent whom he loves very much.

Just as I’ve done before, I counseled him, explaining ways he can communicate with those on this plane.

I also told him that tantrums and hurting my friend were unacceptable.

The events of yesterday were some of the more amazing paranormal ones I’ve experienced.  Each of my paranormal interactions has been unique.  Each has brought its own lessons.  I remain in awe of the paranormal events that have touched my life, but most importantly, I’m glad to be able to help.

My friend sent a nice follow-up email.

You touched someone’s life.  I wanted you to know that.

It was nice to know.
